Weekly Projects

The main goals of each project are to have fun, learn the basics and make an awesome piece of glass.

Most projects are designed to be doable for beginning fusers, no experience necessary.  Many can be embellished or enhanced if you have fusing experience and want to make it more your own.

We have a wide range of projects to choose from for inspiration.  The weekly project provides inspiration if you are unsure what you want to make, but they can be made any day.  Projects will be repeated and watch for wild card weeks where multiple projects will be available.

Each week we have multiple open studio sessions.  Open Studio means that we are in “classes on demand” mode and you can choose your project size and style to fit your taste and your budget.  When you come in you can pick your project and we will teach you basic glass cutting and help guide you through your project.  All levels of fusers are welcome during open studio time.  No experience is necessary.

Popular projects start around $17 and go up from there based on materials used (project fees do not include the $10 per maker studio fee).  Average project costs are $34.

Reservations are required, although short notice spots are often available during the week.  Call, or text, ahead to reserve your spot (417) 693-4991.

As with all projects, you will not be able to take your finished pieces home the same day since they will need to be “cooked” in the kiln 1 or 2 times to be completed.  Each kiln cycle takes roughly 24 hours.  Most projects are ready to pick up within a week and shipping is available, for an extra fee.

Attending an Open Studio session does not require prepayment since there are always options on what you can create and prices vary based on the size of the project you select.

Check the Studio Calendar to see which one is this week’s project.  Our Gallery pages contain photos from past or future projects.
