Are you wondering how you can add another level of personalization to your wedding experience? We have many options for you.
Glass Unity Ceremony:
Celebrate your union using crushed colored glass (aka frit) that can then be turned into a family heirloom for you to enjoy throughout your married life. Just like you and your fiancee that the glass represents, the glass colors are beautiful separately, but when combined, they create something even more beautiful. The heat of the kiln (like the marriage ceremony) bonds the colors together forever. If your glass piece ever gets broken, because sometimes life happens, just pick up all the pieces, bring them back to the studio, and they can be turned into something strong and beautiful again.
Choose two colors from our selection of over 130 colors of art glass for a truly unique finished piece. Check out the color charts at the bottom of this page to see all your frit color options. We also have color samples in the studio for you to choose.
Fees for the frit unity ceremony package start at $120 for a simple 6″ vase, medium cross, medium heart bowl or equivalent, in two standard colors on clear (price includes frit and sales tax, but does not include vessel rental or shipping). Most colors are standard. The few colors that are non-standard are an extra $10-$20. If you would like more than two colors, extra colors are $10-$30 each.
There are a variety of larger sizes and shapes to choose from such as: a folded tips 7″ vase for $135; a 9″ vase for $150-$165; an 11″ round plate for $175; a 16″ centerpiece bowl for $230; and many more. (online pricing is more accurate than brochure pricing and is subject to change)
Elegant glass vessels for the glass unity ceremony are available to rent for the weekend for $25 (requires a refundable $100 deposit). Or, use your own vessels.
If you are a blended family, include the children in the unity ceremony by letting them each add a small amount of color. The extra glass frit fee per child ($20 standard color) includes a cordial glass which they can keep as a reminder of their part in the ceremony.
Often times there is frit left over from the primary unity piece that can be used for additional mementos now or in the future.

Frit Color Charts:
When choosing your colors we recommend at least one Opalescent (aka opaque) color. In our experience using only Transparent colors can sometimes appear too soft. The labeled color samples reflect the color tones but are not identical to the actual glass color. For example, all the Transparent glass colors look solid in the color chart but they really are see-through and softer. Once you choose your colors, we will text you a picture of your selected color glass samples clustered together for confirmation. If you are close enough to come by, we have color samples in the studio for you to choose – our studio is in Springfield, MO.
